    Great post. And I completely agree with all of it especially continuous testing of AdSense, which is what we do at http://www.adngin.com.

    How much traffic is necessary to start monetizing? Well, that depends on the way you plan to monetize your website. If we’re talking advertising, it obviously depends on your niche, geo, and other parameters but I think a minimum of 1,000 daily pageviews is a safe bet to start making real money.

    I think you still need to experiment on this. I tried adsense in my blog it doesn’t work that way.

    I was told you couldnt put adsense on a blog, is that true?? I am trying to figure out how to make money online so I can quite a horrible job. Only few more years to retire but want to make money online. clueless

    AdSense is all about experiments, These tips are useful but you always need to experiment with your ad units, color, size and placements that will gives you more knowledge and idea about ad placement in your niche.
